Seeing a "License Error" or "License not found" message?

Short version: if your tools are loading and working, your licence is fine. Close the message and keep trading.

If you've seen a pop-up titled "CoderForTraders — License Error" that says "License not found for [your email]", here's what's actually going on — and it's good news.

That message does not come from the licence that runs your tools. Your indicators and drawing tools are unlocked separately, and that check runs — and passes — before this pop-up can ever appear. So if your tools are showing up and working on your charts, they're licensed and running normally.

What you're seeing is the little helper that checks whether a newer version is available. Sometimes it can't reach our server for a moment — usually because the server was briefly asleep and takes a few seconds to wake, or because the email it checked doesn't exactly match the one on file. When that happens it shows this message. It looks alarming, but it doesn't touch your tools at all.

What you need to do: nothing. Close the message and carry on. This is a known cosmetic issue on our end and it's already being fixed in an upcoming update — after that, the message goes away for good.

One note: the pop-up suggests emailing an old support address that we no longer watch. If you ever do have a question, the quickest way to reach me is the support form here:

Send it my way and I'll get back to you.
